libelementary-dbg software package provides debugging symbols for use with libelementary, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libelementary-dbg
libelementary-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libelementary-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libelementary-dbg *
You will get with libelementary-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
